"Christmas with the kids is one of our favorite events that we do.  From all the way back to 2007 until 2018, we held a Kids' Christmas festival in Destrehan.  Kids and their parents from all over the parish came for a day of games, gifts, and Santa!

 

A couple of years ago, we partnered with the Sheriff's offices is St. Charles, St. John, and St. James parishes to give out bikes to kids in their communities.  The Sheriff's offices are  very familiar with their residents, and they were able to provide the details on which families would appreciate a new bike.  The kids we met for the bikes were incredible. We've never seen eyes get that big! It was a great time, seeing these kids take their bikes on a test drive in the lot before taking them home...it was just awesome! 

The year after that, we did a giveaway of gifts and goodie bags, similar to how we distribute Thanksgiving baskets. 

We absolutely love our relationship with the community."
